EISCAT Radar Vector Parameters
Last modified at Jan 17th, 2025, 09:23 GMT
Description
Ion drift velocity components from analysed incoherent scatter radar data (and also Dynasonde possible) are combined from several EISCAT stations and/or antenna pointing directions, producing ion velocity vectors on a spatial grid. The corresponding electric fields can be estimated by applying a geomagnetic field model.
