EISCAT Radar Vector Parameters
Last modified at Nov 1st, 2022, 17:32 GMT
Description
Ion drift components from ISR (and also Dynasonde possible) analyses are combined from several EISCAT stations or antenna pointing directions, producing ion velocity vectors on a spatial grid. The corresponding electric fields can be estimated by applying a magnetic field model and assuming that ExB drift dominates.
