Description
ARTIST4 belongs to the family of ARTIST (Automatic Real-Time Ionogram Scaler with True height) software systems for Digisondes. Version 4 uses the classic Reinisch and Huang 1983 signal tracer and an expert system for trace interpretation and scaling of the standard URSI characteristics. Following the trace extraction, several algorithms are run to compute the vertical electron density profile.
