RayTRIX: analytical raytracing through CQP vertical Ne profile at midpoint
Last modified at Jan 10th, 2023, 22:15 GMT
Description
Given the Composite Quasi-Parabolic (CQP) represenration of the vertical profile of electron density in the ionosphere at the midpoint of a radio link, uses analytical ray tracing to calculate traces of radio signals propagating through the ionospheric channel, with up to 3 layers and two propagation modes per layer (for the lower and upper (Pedersen) zenith angle of the ray).
