Description
The calibrated unbiased sTEC is projected to the vertical by using the very well known mapping function depending on the elevation of the satellite. FOr each IPP, a modelled vTEC is computed by running the NeQuick model. The differences between the modelled and actual vTEC are interpolated by using a kriging technique to obtain a “differences global map” with a resolution of 2.5° lat X 5° lon. Such map is then added to the one obtained running the NeQuick for each point of the aforementioned map.
