EISCAT UHF Radar Data in the Madrigal Database
Last modified at Nov 13th, 2023, 10:09 GMT
Description
The Madrigal database is the de facto standard for distributing analysed ionospheric parameters from incoherent scatter radars. EISCAT incoherent scatter radar experiments run on campaign basis and sometimes preliminary results are inserted into Madrigal in real time. Usually though the analysis is repeated with manual calibration. Entries in Madrigal may also be recalibrated and updated as needed. This is the collection of analyzed EISCAT UHF radar data in Madrigal.
How to Access the Data
Online Resource Access
-
The Madrigal server provides a browser-based user interface for data browsing and download as well as web services for remote access APIs. The server can also run a set of empirical models and derive additional physical parameters by combining analysis results and models.
