Description
The EISCAT receiver station in Kiruna was hosted by the Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF) until its decommissioning in 2024. The 32 m receiver antenna was part of the fully steerable tristatic UHF radar 1981-2012 and of the tristatic VHF radar 2012-2024. The ionosonde of the Swedish Institute of Space Physics is also located at this station.
