Description
This Puerto Rico AFB used to be a strategic bombardment wing of USAF with collocated reconnasissance wind and a weather squadron. The bombardment wind was closed in 1973 and remaining weather facilities used to operate under the Ramey Solar Observatory (RSO) title until their closure in 1998. The RSO used to operate a solar telescope and a DISS ionosonde until the 1998 closure.
