Description

SANAE IV is a current South African Antarctic research base located in Vesleskarvet, Queen Maud Land. The base is part of the South African National Antarctic Program (SANAP, https://www.sanap.ac.za/) and is operated by the South African National Antarctic Expedition. Among the other scientific equipment, It hosts a GNSS scintillation receiver part of the INGV ionospheric monitoring network (www.eswua.ingv.it) in the framework of a cooperation with the South African National Space Agency (SANSA, https://www.sansa.org.za/).
